RICHARD SANDNER - Chairman (Non Executive)
Mr. Sandner is a lawyer with experience in the resources arena and has thirty years senior managerial and corporate experience in the mining industry; having previously been the Managing Director and a founding director of both Bendigo Mining NL and Reef Mining NL. Mr. Sandner successfully transformed Reef Mining from an explorer to a mining company.
He is the past president of the Minerals Council of Australia – Victorian Division and is currently involved with a Victorian based unlisted gold and base metal explorer.
JOHATHAN, LIM KENG HOCK – Vice Chairman (Non Executive)
Mr. Lim currently sits on the Board of 2 Singapore SGX listed Catalyst companies as Non Executive Chairman of both ENZER and ADVENTUS.
Mr. Lim is an entrepreneur having founded Romar Positioning Equipment Pte Ltd in 1984. Since then, Mr Lim has grown Romar to a leading global heavy automation equipment manufacturer, principally in the energy, alternative energy, and oil & gas sector. Romar also has distribution facilities and associates in over 30 countries globally and was ranked 3rd place in the Singapore Enterprise E50 Awards in 2007.
In 2008, Romar was acquired by a UK-based MNC and re-organised as Romar Positioning Equipment International Pte Ltd., and as a Global business division of the new owners, of which Mr. Lim is currently the Managing Director.
In addition to being an entrepreneur, Mr. Lim is also an avid investor, promoter and venture capitalist in various listed and unlisted companies in advanced materials, oil sands, heavy oil, electric cars and its allied industries, green industries, electronics and LEDs, mineral business and food manufacturing businesses in both North and South America, Australia and North and SE Asia
PAUL DICKSON B.Econ - Director (Non Executive)
Mr. Dickson has over twenty years experience in the finance services industry. He has worked with a number of stock broking firms including Ord Minett Ltd and Colonial Stock broking and more recently has been a director of a number of boutique banking firms.
Mr. Dickson is currently a director of Bligh Capital (Melbourne) Pty Ltd, who provides a range of services including capital raisings and general corporate advice for small-cap companies.
KEITH WELLS BSc, MSC, Grad Dip Bus, MAIG, MAICD – Director (Non Executive)
Keith Wells is a geologist with over thirty five years experience in the mining industry. This includes over twenty five years at senior management level with a number of companies including; RGC Ltd, Zapopan NL and Herald Resources Ltd. He has also worked extensively as a consultant, which saw him involved with project assessments, valuations, technical audits and IPO Reviews.
Spanning these years has seen Keith working in most states of Australia as well as overseas. Keith has been involved with a number of successful exploration finds including: Henty gold deposit, Tasmania; Mt Coolon gold deposit, Queensland; Hamata gold deposit, PNG; and Magellan lead deposit, WA.
CHRISTOPHER TOMICH BSc (Hons), MAIG - Managing Director
Chris Tomich is a geologist who has been involved in the resources sector for over 30 years and has extensive experience in gold, uranium and base metal exploration. He was previously the Exploration Manager for Terrain Minerals.
Chris has been involved in grass roots project generation to advanced resource evaluation and mining projects; during this time he has worked with a number of Australian and international companies, including PNC Exploration, Hunter Resources, Worsley Alumina, Herald Resources and Anglo American Exploration. He has been involved in several exploration discoveries and resource evaluations, including the Nimary Mertondale and Boddington Gold Mines, and the Mulga Rocks Uranium Deposit in Western Australia.
IAN HOBSON B.Bus, CA, MAICD - Company Secretary
Ian is a sole practitioner Chartered Accountant specialising in providing company secretarial services and non-executive director positions to small ASX listed companies. Prior to commencing his own practice, Ian had in excess of 20 years professional accounting experience working for large chartered accounting firms in Australia, London and Toronto. Ian has had experience in a variety of industries and is experienced in capital raisings, due diligence, compliance, transaction support and general accounting services.
